Spring is a time when the outdoor spaces come into their own, and for those who have never visited before, the week of the Spring Fair will show Chelsea Barracks off to its best advantage.
Between May 22 and 25, the gardens will be transformed in celebration of the Chelsea Flower Show, and Chelsea Barracks will become a hub for shopping, talks and seminars, and excellent food and drink.
The artisan market is at the heart of the Spring Fair, where stalls by independent makers and brands such as Sharland England, The Oxton Liqueur Company and Gaze Burvill will provide stylish shopping opportunities. Alongside the market, a series of seminars, hosted in partnership with House & Garden, will feature their editors in conversation with leading figures in the world of design and horticulture.

Each year, the outdoor spaces at Chelsea Barracks also play host to a sculpture trail. This year’s exhibition, ’Chihuly at Chelsea Barracks', begins in time for London Craft Week on May 13. It will feature a selection of works by the legendary American artist Dale Chihuly, and will be on view until October.
If you need further reasons to keep on enjoying the surroundings of Chelsea Barracks later in the year, House & Garden will be back as a partner in two further fairs this year, a food-themed edition in the autumn and a festive Christmas market as winter draws in.
